THE ANSUL KITCHEN SYSTEM
The Ansul Kitchen System is a pre-engineered, automatic fire suppression system that can tackle large, hazardous fires without human intervention. It is the most widely used kitchen suppression system in the world due to its many features and mechanisms to ensure that they are the safest and most reliable solution.
Every Ansul system that we install, is fully certified to EN16282-7 and tested to UL300 standards.
.

HOW DOES AN ANSUL SYSTEM WORK?
The Ansul system uses tried and tested technology to quickly detect a fire. It can also simultaneously interface with any gas valve/electrical supply to the equipment a fire is detected on.
Where fire is detected, the Ansul Suppression agent is discharged onto the fire, forming a solid layer of foam. This cuts off the oxygen supply to the fire, suppressing it and cooling it.
The early containment of the fire ensures that people are protected and any damage is minimised.
The agent is not stored under pressure, meaning that after activation the system can be recharged on-site by one of our technicians, ensuring that your kitchen is safe to use again.

GAS SUPPRESSION
At Alliance Fire Group, we install and maintain high-quality fire suppression systems that extinguish fires through oxygen displacement and the absorption of heat.
Our gas fire suppression systems use various gases to extinguish fires without causing damage to equipment or requiring extensive cleanup. The medium is carefully selected dependant up on the risk that needs protection and the application.
Here are some common types of gases used:
- Carbon Dioxide (CO2): This gas extinguishes fires by displacing oxygen. It’s effective but not suitable for occupied spaces due to the risk of suffocation.
- Clean Agents: These include HFC-227ea (FM-200) and FK-5-1-12 (Novec 1230). They work by absorbing heat and are safe for use in occupied spaces and on sensitive equipment.
- Inert Gases: Examples are Inergen and Argonite. These gases reduce the oxygen level to a point where combustion cannot occur but still remain safe for humans.
Each type of gas has its own advantages and is chosen based on the specific needs of the environment being protected.
